Thanks to the volunteers who helped us collect 40 sacks of rubbish at this weekend’s North Bushey community litter pick. The great turnout was a reminder of the wonderful community spirit in North Bushey.
Friends of King George receive a Hertsmere Civic Award in recognition of their 27 years of work for the community, in protecting and supporting our wonderful park.
We heard from many residents who were disappointed the bench had been removed from the High Street pavement in Bushey village. Our Lib Dem borough councillors used Ward Improvement Scheme funding to replace the bench.
At a meeting in Radlett, Emma Matanle, our parliamentary candidate, heard that the campaign has been granted a judicial review. This new development brings hope to the campaign that halting the development of 300 acres of greenbelt may be possible.
