Conservative MPs like Oliver Dowden are putting career before country, taking us to the very extremes of a hard no-deal Brexit. I will be standing to represent the people of Bushey, Borehamwood, Elstree, Radlett, Shenley, Potters Bar and all the villages in between, leading the Liberal Democrat campaign in Hertsmere to present a clear alternative to this lurch to the hard right. The Liberal Democrats are unambiguous in their opposition to Brexit and the number one choice for people at the next general election who want to end this endless Brexit nightmare.

I will be campaigning to win in Hertsmere - building on our recent successes in the local elections in May and also in the European elections where the Lib Dems finished ahead of both the Conservative and Labour parties. Brexit has brought the Government to a complete standstill over the last three years, leaving important business unaddressed and neglected. Our environment, our public services and our economy all need attention. I will be fighting not just to stop Brexit, but to bring our country back to the centre ground. I will be campaigning hard to be a strong Liberal Democrat voice in Parliament because, simply, Hertsmere deserves better."
