VALUES Equality and fairness

Mandy's plan for Aldenham, Elstree and Radlett

  1. A secondary school for Radlett Fight for the county and borough councils to finally provide Radlett with a state secondary school of its own.
  2. Safer, better highways Get to the bottom of the Harper Lane junction fiasco to make sure that never again are county money, residents' time and local business revenue, all squandered in this absurd way. Also, restore a fair share of county funding and to fix Hertsmere's roads and pavements, introduce 20mph limits for residential roads, and create a cycle lane on the B462 Watford Road.
  3. Stay in touch Hold monthly residents' surgeries and create a new hotline for reporting local problems.
  4. Greener Expand rooftop solar power and improve household recycling. Make local bus services more frequent.
  5. Fairer Expand free school meals for disadvantaged children. Pay carers a living wage.
  6. Healthier Learn COVID lessons by joining up health and social care programmes between different councils and agencies.

  7. Cleaner Curb fly-tipping. Clean litter from our roadside verges and greenspaces.
